Many of you may know that my son Aaron is a huge fan of building things. But did you know that he is also a huge fan of drones? That’s why when he heard about FlyDrones, he couldn’t wait to try it out. FlyDrones is the best of both worlds because you can build your own drone and fly it too!
We received the 72 piece DIY kit. What we liked best about this kit is that there are four designs that you can choose from.

As you can see it is a very complete kit. The only thing we had to add was two AA batteries for the control. It took my Aaron (who is 11) 45 min to put the second design together. Here is what the finished drone looked like.
As you can see by the picture below, Aaron was very proud with himself.
This drone was easy to learn to fly and a single charge lasted for about 20 min of flying time. What my son liked the best about this kit is that he could build, crash and repeat! But even if you don’t crash your drone, you can take it apart and build one of the other designs.
