I love having my boys cooking in the kitchen with me. So we are always looking for cookbooks that they can read and use. That’s why I was super excited to find Chef Gino’s Taste Test Challenge: 100+ Winning Recipes That Any Kid Can Cook. This is a book that they absolutely loved. I think we have made at least 15 recipes from this book already.
This book is so much more than just a book with recipes in it. It teaches the basics, perfect for young beginner chefs. I also really like that it doesn’t just have pictures of the finished recipe, it has pictures of the ingredients too. It’s illustrations are perfect for kids! We absolutely love it!

About the Author

About the Illustrator
Mike Lowery has illustrated everything from greeting cards to children’s books to packaging for snack cakes. He is the author and illustrator of the award-winning Doodle Adventures series, which teaches and encourages kids to draw.
