I’m proud to say that I always crafted with my nieces when they were little. We did everything from painting, to knitting and everything in between. I taught them to look at something not for what it was but for what it can be. Today both nieces are in their mid 30’s and they still craft and they love to go to thrifty stores to find something they can create from something else.

My mother is 87 and I give her 31 presents on Thanksgiving for the month of December. She gets to open one a day. The tradition started one year that I could not be home for Christmas and she loved it. But she also explained to me later that December had 31 days and that she ran out of presents. So I have been doing this about 15 years now. Some of the gifts only cost a dollar or less some are a little more.

Had a German Shepherd staying with me and I did not know he was afraid of thunder storms. I laid down on the couch and was sleeping good all at once I came awake when the shepherd landed on top of me. I started yelling get of me get of me and all he would do was continue to try to crawl under me. That was a big laugh in the family for a lot of years

On the cookie sheet and the oven temp correct, timer set. Took it out and it was beautiful, let it cool and then we decide to cut it. It was harder than a rock could not cut it………….. TRASHED
