Rigoni di Asiago Offering You The Best Organic Spreads & Honey

I am always thrilled to tell you about products that I love. Especially when those products are food products. Recently I was introduced to Rigoni di Asiago. I immediately wanted to try them out because of their spreads. I love having a piece of toast with my morning coffee. As you can see in the picture above Rigoni di Asiago generously sent me five of their products to test out. All of them were amazing! Let me tell you more about them.

Rigoni di Asiago

Dolcedì

What it is (from the Rigoni di Asiago website): Dolcedì is a new, all-natural liquid sweetener that’s made from 100% organic apples and is a low-glycemic* alternative to sugar and other sweeteners.

Dolcedì can be used any way you would use traditional table sugar or honey. Its neutral flavor enhances the taste of food and drinks without altering them. Dolcedì is also highly soluble in both cold and hot drinks and can be enjoyed with pancakes, on yogurt, in fruit salad, and in baking. With 25% fewer calories than table sugar and higher sweetening power (you just need ½ tsp vs. 1 tsp granulated sugar) Rigoni di Asiago Dolcedì is made from the concentrated and filtered sugar extracted from organic apples. It is certified USDA organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and STAR-KOSHER.

What we thought: I have been using Dolcedì everywhere! In my coffee, tea, and for cooking desserts. Dolcedì is sweet and delicious! I am totally hooked.

Fiordifrutta Organic Fruit Spread Strawberry

What it is (from the Rigoni di Asiago website): Red, meaty, sweet and pleasing to the eye, the strawberry has many of the virtues that make a food healthy. Use as a classic topping for breakfast, in pies and cakes. Also sublime with fresh cheese.

“Strawberry fragrans,” as it was originally called by the Romans in tribute to its intense aroma, is native to the Alps, where it grew in the wild.

Fiordifrutta Organic Fruit Spread is organic, non-GMO, Kosher certified, and gluten free.

What we thought: This is the perfect spread! I love it on a bagel with cream cheese, and my mom loves it on unsalted saltines. I love that it’s not overly sweet. I also really like that it’s meaty without having it feel awkward on the tongue. If you like spreads, you are going to love this one.

Limited Edition Italian Mandarin Honey

What it is (from the Rigoni di Asiago website): Mandarin Honey has a flavor that is delicate and sweet. It is made in Calabria, an area of Italy that is well-suited for the production of Clementines, a fruit also known as Mandarin oranges. These fruits are grown in plantations that are devoted exclusively to organic farming methods. 26 bee colonies from over 2,000 production hives create the honey from nectar produced in the Clementine blossoms. Mandarin Honey is produced each year between the beginning of April and mid-May in a micro-climate that’s idea for the production of this unique honey.

What we thought: This was my absolute favorite product of the ones I’ve mentioned. Before trying it I thought it would taste like orange flavored hard candies. Boy was I wrong! This honey has such a delicious and complex flavor. I really like that it is slightly more spreadable than regular honey, yet it still flows perfectly. This is a limited edition flavor and it’s exclusively available at Whole Foods Market. So I am definitely going to have to stock up! Click on the name to read it’s full bio.
