We were in need of a dual charging station for our Wii U remotes. Since all five of us use the Wii U to play video games or in my case do Zumba, batteries were frequently being changed in the Wii U remotes. We have had this charging station for a few weeks now, and it has more than paid for itself. This has been a huge money saver and the best part is that it works perfectly. This device charges through a USB port, you can even use the one on the on the Wii U console. You can also purchase a USB to AC adapter. These adapters are usually inexpensive.
I also really like that it has an LED light. While the remotes are charging the light is red and once they are fully charged it turns blue. Both of the batteries fit our remotes perfectly. The remotes sit in the docks perfectly and I really liked that I didn’t have fiddle with them or anything to get them to fit. I also liked that the dock charges the remotes in a decent amount of time. We played continuously with the batteries for 4+ hours, which is perfect for us!
This dual charging station didn’t come with printed instructions. But the use of this dual dock is self explainable, that they really aren’t needed. It is super easy, just plug the dock in with the included cord. Remove the existing battery cover and batteries, then install the rechargeable batteries, set them on the dock and wait for the color to change before using! We are super happy with it!

My daughters are gamers and we have many different game systems at our house. Between the games and other electronics, like cell phones, finding a way to keep everything charged can be a real challenge. This sounds great for keeping the Wii-U controllers charged up.
This looks like it would be something I need to check out, for a gift.
