I was looking for a state of the art baby monitor to give my sister as a gift. While looking at several of them I was glad to come across the Snug Baby Monitor. This is a pretty versatile camera for the price. It was easier to set up than I thought it would be. I really like that the overall picture quality is excellent.
Once you plug the camera into a power outlet and a router it will come to life and allow you to connect via an app on either an Apple or Android device or via a computer browser. The setup on the app was quite easy as it asked for basic information like your wifi SSID and password and it let you either type in the long ID for your camera or scan the QR code from within the app. Overall the basic setup was as easy as it gets and the camera was up and running within just a couple minutes.
When using the Android app you can move the camera by dragging your finger on the screen in the direction you want the camera to move. Using your PC browser you will have a control on the screen. Both have the ability to set positions and recall them.

Bottom line, this is an excellent little camera that provides a lot of bang for the buck. It has an easy setup process, an excellent picture and is easy to access both from home and when you’re away.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, all you need to do is enter the camera ID, and you’ll be set to use and control the SnugCam with your smartphone, tablet or PC from anywhere.
