NYX Cosmetics has always been a favorite of mine when it comes to makeup. So when I saw this set I just had to try it out. They arrived quickly after ordering thanks to my Prime membership. So if you don’t have Amazon Prime I highly recommend it. I have saved hundreds already this year in shipping. OK so let’s get back to these shadow sticks. When I received them I was surprised to see how pigmented they are! I have other NYX eyeshadow singles and quads that are also pigmented, but when it comes to shadow sticks I have others that just don’t cut it. These however leave the exact amount of color needed.
Another thing I really liked was that I only had to reapply it once in ten hours. And really the only reason I reapplied it was because I was going out for dinner and I wanted to freshen it up. As for the stick itself I love that the lid fits on tight and doesn’t fall off. Now I can’t stand it when I reach into my bag and find that my shadow stick, lipstick or eyeliner has broken because the lid fell off. Then everything in my bag is covered in whatever it was that broke. 🙁 That is so not the case with these NYX Glam Shadow Sticks. It doesn’t matter if I have it in my purse or makeup bag. These are definitely great shadow sticks and I highly recommend them. With the holidays coming, these are going to make perfect stocking stuffers!
