What I think about the 4K HDMI Cable Ultra Premium Series by: Solid Cordz®
I recently had the opprtunity to test out Solid Cordz’s 4K HDMI Cable Ultra Premium Series. I already had my Blueray/DVD player and Ethernet connected to my smart TV with HDMI cables but I had heard that not all HDMI cables are created equal. This couldn’t be more true! Here I was thinking that the picture quality I was getting was the best it could be, boy was I wrong.
Once I switched out the cable that had come with my Blueray/DVD Player, and the one connecting the Ethernet with the 4K HDMI cable from Solid Cordz, I turned everything on and I was really surprised. The first thing I tested was the Ethernet. I opened the browser on the smart TV and to my surprise everything was quicker, from the loading of the pages to using the apps on the TV. And the quality of the picture was awesome. After I was done testing that out, I couldn’t wait another second to test out the Blueray/DVD player. I loaded a disc from the boys collection, since we watch this disc often I knew I would recognize if there was a difference. The picture quality and sound was amazing, crystal clear and bright! I couldn’t believe how I had settled for the old quality I was getting because I didn’t know any better.
Now that I’ve shared my experience, let me share what I thought about the product when I first received it. The first thing off the bat was that I was happy that this came in a 2 pack box. That right there is a great deal! When I opened the packs inside I noticed the quality of the cables.
The thickness of the wires are nice. I was expecting them to look like the regular black smooth feel cables I had. But instead these are rope type cables that are sturdy enough to keep them from easily getting damaged. The 4K HDMI Ultra Premium Series rope like cables have a rough and tough feel which helps prevent the cables from twisting and coiling. They are a bit heavier, and in my opinion a lot more durable. The length of the cab;es are 6 feet,which is nice because it’s just the right length to connect the Ethernet.
Another thing I noticed and really liked was the quality of the connection on the cables which are gold plated.

Don’t make the mistake I did in thinking that all cables are the same. There is definitely a quality difference, I will never buy a cheap two pack again.
