I’m a Big Kid Now! – An I See Me Personalized Big Kid Book – Review

 

For those who have never heard of the I See Me! line of books, the idea behind it is that each child is an important figure in their own imaginations, and seeing that imagination brought to life in a book is a great way to help grow their self-esteem. I was super excited when I was asked to review Their new personalized big kid book ” I’m a Big Kid Now, because it celebrates the accomplishments that kids go through as they become big kids! Which is perfect now that Matias is fully potty trained and all things he is currently doing in his day.

When I first took the book out of the package I was pleasantly surprised at the care that was taken on the packaging of the book. It was covered in a light bubble wrap and placed in a padded envelope so the book would not get damaged on it’s was to us. It was great seeing how the book was personalized. On the cover was a little boy that resembled Matias! Not to mention that the title of the book is “Matias is a Big Boy Now!”

When Matias saw it he said “mommy that’s me!” with a huge smile on his face. That was just the cover, the book got better on the inside the book comes with many personalized areas from the front dedication,

to my little boys name on many of the items throughout the book, Matias’ favorite was that he saw his name on a piggy bank just like his, we also liked that the story is written in a way to include his name in the story line.

I love how sturdy the book is, I can definitely see this being a part of our family library for many years to come! I can’t wait until he can read it on his own.  Personally I think that Personalized Children’s books make great and unique gifts! 

The I See Me! line of books is the best when it comes to personalized gifts that I have come across. I really like that they have so many different items that you can make uniquely your child’s. We were lucky enough to also receive a sticker sheet personalized with Matias’ name as well.

Isn’t it the cutest? I loved how thick the stickers are and how easy they are for Matias’ little fingers to take off the sheet and place them on his things! The stickers have a nice gloss to them, yet they are not too glossy. The colors are wonderful, I wish that you could tell from the picture but it doesn’t do them justice. Matias likes that they have dinosaurs on them which is his favorite thing in the world right now and he also likes that they come in different sizes.
