Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara Review

#RETROGLAM1I was so excited when I saw that Influenster had sent me a Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara for free to review in my Spring Fling Vox Box! I had heard so many great things and was dying to try it!

I’m a big fan of mascara and therefore I’m always searching for a  new mascara to try. I love all things retro styled so this mascara had my name written all over it. My first impression of the product was that the tube is pretty chunky but I like the way it fits in my hand, It has a really comfortable feel to it. The package is pretty cute too, definitely has that retro look. I usually buy the darkest mascara color, so I was thrilled that Influenster had sent me the Extreme Black. But What I liked the best is that the color is just that Extreme Black. That’s exactly how I like my mascaras, truthful… not just in the color but also in what it says it does. It gave me the wide eye look without clumps that it promised.

When I first used it the wand felt really big and threw me for a bit of a loop, but  I got used to it quickly. In the end the wand is one of my favorite features. Because of it’s shape it’s good to use to get into the lashes in the corner of the eye and the outer ones that are smaller.

RETROGLAM2

My final thoughts is that this is a genuinely great mascara. I like that the formula is not too wet or too dry. I also like they way the brush separates every one of my lashes, it adds volume and lengthens them. I’m definitely going to continue using this mascara. My search for the perfect mascara for me has ended thanks to Rimmel London and their Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara!

What do you look for in a mascara?
