As a stay at home mom I lead a life of chaos. Many people would believe that because I’m home all day that my house is immaculate, and that whip up gourmet meals daily. Oh how I wish that were true! For starters my house is never immaculate, and the meals well…if only they were gourmet. Hearing the words “Mom what’s for dinner” sends me running to hide.  Which is why when I got the chance to try eMeals I was thrilled.

Let me start by telling you what eMeals is. eMeals is the market leader in online meal planning solutions. This company provides over 50 weekly plans based on customers preferred food style, family size and grocery store. Specialties include classic, clean eating, simple gourmet, low fat, low carb, paleo, portion control, organic, vegetarian and gluten-free meals. Are you intrigued yet? eMeals not only gives you meal recipes for the week based on a couple meal plan for 2 people, or a family meal plan for 4+, but eMeals is also designed to ensure that you do not have food waste. This means no wasted money, no wasted food storage, and more money in your pockets.

Sign up was easy, I went to the eMeals website, and the same day I registered I received my first meal plan. When I registered, I was asked what type of preferred food style I wanted, I chose their “classic” choice. The next question was how many people did I have to feed, I chose their “family plan” which is great for 4+ people. Then I was asked which grocery store I preferred. At first I didn’t know why they would need to know this, but I made my choice anyway. Well it turns out that they deen to know what grocery store you like because, eMeals gives you a shopping list that tells you what sales are going on in your LOCAL grocery story with items on your personal recipe list for the week – saving you time! How can they do that, easy eMeals has partnerships with all major food stores. Not only is that convenient, but all the ingredients you buy will be used in multiple recipes so that there is no waste.

You can chose if you want them to plan Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or all three. They are reasonably priced, plus if you take into consideration that eMeals saves consumers on average $1,000/year (because of the smart meal planning, no waste, and store sales coordination) it’s totally worth every penny! I find it convenient that they email you your meal plan as well as give you the option to download the meal plan on your online account. Having me email connected to my cell makes it easier to shop because, I have the list of what I need with me at all times.

Lunch is a meal that I never had time for, which any doctor will tell you skipping meals is not healthy. So I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy my lunch plan was. Here’s an example of my lunch plan for today.
