How To Draw Cool Stuff Book Series Review

My son Aaron and I love to doodle. Recently Aaron has been taking his drawing more serious. He has been looking at books at the library about drawing. When I heard about the series of books called How to Draw Cool Stuff, I knew he would like them. I wasn’t wrong, as soon as we got them he immediately chose which one he was going to look at first.

All three of the books offer step by step instructions that are easy to follow and easy to understand. My favorite of the three was the one that teaches shading, texture, pattern and optical illusions. I always have had a hard time adding those things to my drawings correctly. This book has opened up a world of possibilities for my drawings.

Arron’s absolute favorite was the Holidays, Seasons and Events book. He has drawn so many pictures from it and loves how easy it has made drawing what he loves.
