Kid Crazy and the Kilowatt King

Kid Crazy and the Kilowatt King By Claudio Sanchez

book-review-disclosure

This is such an adorable book. I have always liked books that are written in rhyme. This book has such a great story and shows how important it is to be polite. I have always taught my boys the importance of the word “please”. This book reinforces that teaching and in such an entertaining way. All three of my boys loved this story. Kid Crazy and the Kilowatt King has quickly become a favorite in this house.

About the book…

Kid Crazy Carlson thirsts for adventure in the far-off and bustling City of Ever. One day he meets a robot that warns him of the grumpy Kilowatt King that rules there―who forces people to sing for him. Despite the robot’s warning, Kid decides to make the voyage to the city and the two travel in a car made of bread through candy bar men, robot travelers, and dancing elephants to reach their destination. Finally, Kid stands before the sour King Kilowatt and teaches him a lesson in manners: the value of the word “please.”
