Goodbyn Bynto & Hero Food Containers Review

Disclosure

I use food containers year round. For the summer we go on a lot of picnics and trips to the lake and beach. So we are almost always packing lunches and snacks. Having used so many food containers I was so happy to have found some of really great quality! That’s why I am excited to be sharing about the Goodbyn Bynto & Hero food containers with you. Goodbyn was nice enough to send us two of each of these great containers to test out. Aside from the Goodbyn website you can also find the Goodbyn brand on Amazon.

Let’s talk about the Goodbyn Bynto

The Bynto lunchbox is a 3 compartment lunch container designed to reduce waste and the need for snack bags. As you can see, the Bynto only consists of two pieces, the container and the lid. The lid is wedged so that each compartment is individually sealed and foods from one compartment cannot leak into the other.

The only thing I would not recommend is you put really runny foods into it. They will not leak into another compartment but when I tried it, it did leak out from the lid. It’s not really an issue for us though because this was only to test the Bynto out. In reality the only “runny” thing I may use is ranch dressing or yogurt and with both those things this container was great!

Now let’s take a look at the Goodbyn Hero.

The Hero lunch box included the lunch box and two dipper containers. We have packed some fun foods to try out the Goodbyn Hero. Some of the foods we have filled our Hero with are Goldfish crackers, cucumber slices, granola, grapes, sandwiches, salad, and yogurt. Our Hero container has worked wonderfully with all of these!

We love both Goodbyn food containers! The main thing I like about both the Bynto & the Hero is that I can make a lunchbox fit for everyone! Because of the many different compartments this is really a lunch box that can grow with the kids! The only thing to be aware of is that these lunchbox are a nice large size. They will not fit into a regular lunch cooler. But Goodbyn has taken care of that too, they have a really great looking insulated lunch bag on their website! I have a couple of large neoprene coolers so I haven’t had an issue, however I wanted to mention it to you. Other things to love about these Goodbyn containers is that they are dishwasher safe, BPA- and phthalate free,  and 100% recyclable!

I love that the compartments seal individually!! Such a great idea!! Im a little bummed about the cover leakage but Im not shock!! To be honest most stuff does leak after year of use anyways since plastic can warp!! Still a great little set!!

These don’t sound to bad and I think it’s better than using ziplock bags. The only I would worry about is putting runny stuff in them.

Love it. I like the many compartments. I like the dip container also. I think my kids would have gotten a lot of use out of these when going to school.
