When planning the menu for our Super Bowl party one thing that I must include is guacamole! This year for the game we will be trying out a guacamole recipe with a twist! I want to thank IMUSA for sharing both this recipe and picture with us. I can’t wait to give these tamales a try!
According to the Wall Street Journal, Americans will consume over 71.4 million pounds of avocado (the main ingredient in guacamole) during the Super Bowl. With that much guacamole to be eaten, preparing the perfect snack for your guests is no easy task.
That being said, IMUSA wants to share their perfect recipe as you plan your Super Bowl party. Created by IMUSA, this Mango Guacamole recipe is delicious and savory, combining avocados with cilantro and radishes.
3 ripened avocados
1 ripened mango
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 cup cilantro
1/2 cup white onion
3 teaspoons salt
1- In your IMUSA Molcajete, add half of the diced mangos and mash with the pestle into a pulp.
2- Then add one avocado and mash into a pulp with the mango.
3- In a separate bowl mix remaining ingredients, including mango, and add more lime juice if needed.
4- Fold mixture with pulp inside Molcajete and serve with tortilla chips.
